After having lived and worked for many years in towns and cities in England, South East Asia and in the Middle East, I and my wife Corinne, chose to retire to Stonehouse and have found it a welcoming and interesting town. 

I have enjoyed becoming a member of Stonehouse Partnership; of St Cyr's Church; of the WEA courses; a founder member of Stonehouse LIVE and since August 2009 the Town Council and the Amenities Recreation & Tourism Committee.  Thankfully our three children and three (so far!) grandchildren all live easily accessible and we enjoy spending time together.
