Serving the community into which I was born, I was committed to being an MP  and am even more so as a local Town Councillor. I was born in south Gloucestershire and have lived in Stonehouse for over 25 years and am married with four children. In my period of service of more than a decade as a Town, District and County Councillor I have carried out thousands of pieces of casework for individuals and groups.

I am particularly interested in rural issues and am an active member of St Cyr's Church. I am a member of a number of local groups involved with young and older people and the disabled. I remain a Governor of Maidenhill School, and have previously been involved with the Youth Club. I am an honorary Rotarian, and value involvement with a number of other local organisations.
