I joined the Town Council in May 2007 and am a member of the Regeneration and Environment Committee. Having settled with my husband in Stonehouse in the early 1990's I feel happy and involved in our community.

My background is within the NHS and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. I am now self employed working for several charities, including bereavement work and adoption/foster families. My other part time work sees me gardening locally for elderly and less able residents through Care & Repair. I am also a volunteer for Stonehouse Fairshares scheme and Winston's Wish Children's bereavement camps.

My main interests are my 5 grandchildren, my 4 sons, gardening, wildlife, hillwalking and cycling.
